Listed is my new pattern called Honey Cakes Baby Quilt by Little Louise Designs. The quilt measures 37" x 53" and uses only 16 - 10" squares or 22 - 1 1/2" strips plus background and binding fabric! It is Layer Cake and Honey Bun Friendly but also a great opportunity to use up all those scraps in your stash! The pattern has easy to follow fully illustrated instructions.
The inspiration for this block came from a design on a vintage neck tie. I really love the way this quilt came out. The fabrics are from a Riley Blake Layer Cake from the Promenade line. This pattern would work up nice for either a boy or a girl.

Jude Spero has been quilting for nearly 40 years. She grew up in NY City and started sewing as a child. Jude has been designing quilts for many years and has had a quilting business since 1994. She is also a longarm quilter and teacher. The name of her pattern line "Little Louise Designs" is named after her cat Louise. Louise just loves quilts and has to get involved in the design process!
