Donna began her career making cloth dolls at craft shows. Soon after, her original designs were published on the cover of several major magazines. She then freelanced her sewing and craft ideas with a team of designers for Ben Franklin magazine and Lee Wards stores. As life got busy at home, she found that quilting by hand was all she could do in doctors’ offices and sports fields. After teaching herself the computer, she became proficient in EQ and has since been designing quilts for local quilt shops and internet stores. She also cuts quilt kits with her Accuquilt Studio. In 2008, she started a longarm quilting business, improving her expertise in the art of free motion quilting. Donna belongs to Faithful Circle Quilt Guild, The Under Achievers Quilt Bee and American Quilter’s Society. She resides in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois with her husband, daughter, and five sons.
