We love buttons, do you? We collect while antiquing, shopping at our favorite quilt stores, going through Great Aunt Betty’s stash (with her permission, of course), and all the odds and ends that just end up in the cute button container. Would you like to be able to show some of them off? This quilt is the perfect solution. Sew just a few, or sew every extra button onto your quilt to show the world your incredible collection. Then just cut off what you need when you need one for something else. No, really! Laura sews them on perfectly straight in rows, while I sew then on willy-nilly all over the squares, the borders, and just everywhere. Both ways are adorable and this is the perfect solution for showing off the beautiful buttons you enjoy collecting. The quilt’s square size and easy directions will have you displaying buttons in no time at all!
Laura and Lynnette are next-door neighbors, dear friends, and passionate quilters. They started Beach Garden Quilts in 2004, and business meetings often take place in one of the old family cabins fondly known as the studio (Scrabble Letters spell out "Studio" on the old Dutch door). Most of the time they meet in the morning in their p.j.s! Shhh - don’t tell corporate America!
They are known for their well-written patterns, graceful designs, and wonderful floor mat patterns. Their motto is simple: "At Beach Garden Quilts we partner with the best people in the business to create innovative quilting projects we know our customers will enjoy!" They also have fabric design in their future so stay tuned for fabulous floras and faunas coming your way in 2013!
