I have been quilting for 25 years, and thoughout all these years one of my favorite things has been to design my own projects. It's always a challenge to learn new skills, and pattern writing is a tricky one as people all learn in different ways! I try to include plenty of illustrations in my patterns as well as clear written instructions. I prefer rotary cutting, but do include templates as necessary. EQ7 is a wonderful help for drafting blocks and making templates, I couldn't do what I do without this!
