10” Squares (Layer Cakes, Tonga Treats, etc.) or 1/8 Yard cuts . Layer Cakes and Tonga Treat Squares generally contain 40 -42 squares, others may vary depending on the company. Keep this in mind when purchasing your fabrics. Each 10” Square or 1/8 yard cut will give you all the pieces needed to make one block. Choose the amount of assorted squares or 1/8 yard cuts needed for the size quilt you’re making. Choose Batting for your size quilt. Jude Spero has been quilting for nearly 40 years. She grew up in NY City and started sewing as a child. Jude has been designing quilts for many years and has had a quilting business since 1994. She is also a longarm quilter and teacher. The name of her pattern line "Little Louise Designs" is named after her cat Louise. Louise just loves quilts and has to get involved in the design process!
