Spiked Shortbread uses Marti Michele's Template set R for piecing. This quilt is a unique way to use a template intended for borders, as the main block of the quilt. Pair this with straight line or echo quilting and you have a very modern looking baby quilt. It is fat quarter friendly and could be a scrap fabric quilt as well.
