I love using panels as the starting point for a quilt, but it seems like it's hard to use those long narrow ones. This pattern takes care of that situation, plus you can also use it to make a darling strip quilt without a panel! Fully illustrated in color with directions to make either option. Yes, you can really finish this quilt in an evening!
I have been quilting for 25 years, and thoughout all these years one of my favorite things has been to design my own projects. I have been challenged during the last few years to try my hand at actually writing these ideas up and sharing them with others - so here I am! It's always a challenge to learn new skills, and pattern writing is a tricky one as people all learn in different ways! I try to include plenty of illustrations in my patterns as well as clear written instructions. I prefer rotary cutting, but do include templates as necessary. EQ7 is a wonderful help for drafting blocks and making templates, I couldn't do what I do without this!
