About Me

Susie M. Robbins was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  She graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH and her design credits are from Ohio State University, the Cleveland Art Institute and the Rhode Island School of Design.  She minored in fabric design.  Susie is driven by color and design, which she loves.  Her company, Peddlers of Danville was formed when she started designing cloth dolls.  Her quilt life began with Diana McClun at Empty Spools, in Alamo, California.  In 1989 she designed her first commercial piece of fabric.  For the last 20 plus years she has designed many lines for different fabric company's. She says, "It's not often you get to play all day long and call it work.  We should all be so lucky!"  She and her husband, Nelson, currently reside in Bonita Springs, Floorida.
