Grace your holiday table in festive style with a set of placemats featuring all four of the appliques shown. Or, if you prefer, choose your favorite design and use it for a set of four matching mats.

Using the stitch-and-flip construction method, the placemats are assembled before the appliques are added so the placemats are quilted-as-you-go.

Appliques are fused to the assembled mats and then embellished with stitching over the raw edges, which adds more quilting.

Pattern includes full-size templates and applique placement guides--everything you need for success.

These placemats are great for beginners or for any quilter who wants to stitch something fast and easy for holiday decorating or for gifts.

An experienced beginner should find these placemats easy enough to assemble.

This pattern coordinates with my ""Tis the Season Wall Hanging" and my "Pretty Poinsettias Table Runner," both available at this website. Applique sizing is different for each of the three projects.
