Michie Lee Blevins

Michie Lee Blevins is a quilter, a video game lover, a graphic designer, a math lover, a geek, a sewer, a home renovator, and just about everything in between.  She has been sewing for 10 years, ever since she was accidentally volunteered as Costume Mistress at her college theatre at Hollins University.  After moving to Asheville, North Carolina in 2005, Michie picked up quilting, and then in 2010, started pattern designing. She has a flair for modern quilts, with a hint of traditional, and loves designing all things geeky. She is also being inspired by professional quilters Paula Reid and Denyse Schmidt.

When she’s not helping folks with sewing machine problems and quilt math conundrums, Michie can be found getting her kicks at Tae Kwon Do class, cuddling with her kitty, or hanging out with her friends. She has been seen at Trivia Night and at Roller Derby competitions.
