This easy quilt is a great way to use up strips and scraps you've been saving. The quilt features 12 pieced blocks (created on a foundation) set on point, alternating with plain blocks. The fun of this design is that each block turns out different than the others. The finished quilt has a simple contrasting inner border and an outer border made of left-over uneven strips. The finished size is 36 x 44 inches. This quilt is easy enough for a beginner and interesting enough for an experienced quilter! Think of the possibilities!
This would be a great quilt in red or black and white. How about using all colors of strips and using muslin for the alternating blocks? Any color, whatever your favorite will make this design successful!
