This is a pattern and instructions for making a wall quilt featuring Ann's spiral rose design. The pattern is shown with red roses and border around a beige to cream pieced background. It can be used vertically or horizontally. Roses, stems and leaves are fused and machine appliqued onto the background of pieced squares with a strip border. This quilt is a great way to use up some of your scraps! Ann includes suggestions for simplifying the pattern as well and ideas for making it uniquely your own design. Imagine how dramatic this would be when set on a dark background! Give it a try.  Appropriate for quilters with some experience in piecing and machine applique.
