Cute, but a few (3 spots)

A few errors in materials requirement (should be 2 pieces each of batting and backing, measuring at least 19 x 19" to accomodate basting and quilting requirements). Decorative strip should be cut at 3" wide not 2.5". Zipper foot came in handy while sewing this strip on the seam.Otherwise an alright pattern.

Black Cat Creations

Black Cat Creations was formed in 1998 by Judy Reynolds.  Judy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Houston.  A degree she pursued after her children were grown.  She was actually going to school at the same time her girls were! The name“Black Cat Creations” was taken from her black cat “Good Kitty” because of his constant and sometimes annoying presence while sewing.  Amy Cotham joined Judy in 1999 and took on the marketing and editing tasks.  Along the way, several designers joined Amy and Judy:  Nancy Altsman, Claudia Atchison, Margaret Batterton, Judy Dohrman, Jamie Elfert, Phyllis Petersen, Jody Rosenhauer, Claire Ruchhoeft, Minay Sirois and Jackie Theriot.  When Amy's husband decided to retire, that is when both Amy and Judy decided they wanted to retire as well.  They asked Jackie Theriot, one of their designers, if she would like to buy the business and she said yes!  So in January, 2014, Jackie became the new owner of Black Cat Creations.  Since then, 5 new designers have joined BCC, Lynn Roddy Brown, Diana Hill, Dee Ann Hill, Ramona Bailey Williams, and Kris Holderness.  Black Cat Creations' designers release several patterns a year so keep an eye out for new and exciting patterns for the creative quilter in you.
