This is such a fun and easy pattern to make. You get the pattern and full color photo tutorial for the simple chick in three sizes. I love to make these for charity, baby showers, and birthday parties. Add a rattle to the inside for babies. Make a whole family for a fun Easter basket stuffer. There is no hand stitching with this pattern. You can sew the entire soft doll with your machine. You do not need a fancy sewing machine with embroidery stitches, even a basic machine can make this quick and easy Easter chick. At our house, we love to play hide an seek with these cute little animals. It gets the kids (and adults) moving. We even add little twenty question clue games to help find the secret hiding spot. The pattern and full color photo tutorial make this project so simple even a beginner can make this. I even show you how to use safety eyes if you have never used them before. You can also use buttons or applique on eyes for a totally unique look. Try making the pattern from a mix of cottons for a modern look or from minky or chenille for a softer baby toy. I've even made these little chicks from burlap and muslin for shabby chic Easter decorations.

Hello! Welcome to my pattern shop.  I've been designing sewing patterns for the last several years, but my passion for sewing started as a child.  My mother is an avid sewist and made many of my clothes and dolls growing up.  I learned my sewing skills from her.  About 10 years ago I started making and selling doll and baby clothes.  A few years in I decided my true passion was in designing the patterns.  I published my first pattern in 2009.  I've been selling patterns all over the world since then.  I try to make my patterns easy to follow with step-by-step instructions.  I also try to use patterns to teach you new techniques to make sewing simpler, faster, and more enjoyable.
