Our "In the Pumpkin Patch" is unlike any other soft-sculpture pumpkin pattern. The pumpkins are fully dimensional, but will come apart just like a puzzle for flat storage. The pumpkins will look great in a vignette as pictured above or stacked next to your favorite scarecrow. Included will be patterns and directions for 3 different size pumpkins, the pumpkin leaves, crow, moon and bat.  You will add the hay bale, wooden fence and any greenery desired to complete your vignette.
"In the Pumpkin Patch" is an easy-to-make project even for the beginner. We have pictured our pumpkins made of Fall colored calicos, but you could use gesso and acrylic paint.  If you are a decorative painter, these would be beautiful using that technique as well.
Pattern includes detailed instructions, full size pattern pieces, and full-color cover so you can clearly see the finished project.
A color printer is highly recommended to print cover pages.  Your pattern download includes (1) one pdf file that can be printed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper.
This pattern is an original design of Cathy Lawrence of Cloth Dolls by Stitch 'N Stuff.  You may use our patterns to make items for your personal use or to sell at local craft shows in limited quantities.  The only requirement is that you credit Cloth Dolls by Stitch 'N Stuff for the design on your hang tag or any advertising.  You may not reproduce this pattern for sale or mass produce products made from this pattern.

Cloth Dolls by Stitch 'N Stuff

I  have designed cloth dolls, doll patterns and general sewing patterns since 1992 and I have maintained a website ( where I sell my dolls and patterns since 1995. I have always liked sewing and creating. Dolls are my passion; however, I recently tried my hand at a penny rug type design just for fun and instantly fell in love with the hand-sewing technique. I have already designed two (2) patterns using the buttonhole stitch and many more are on the drawing board. I take pride in using extra care in sewing my items. Most doll clothing is removable; doll dresses are lined and any seams that show are serged. My folk art doll clothes are finished with vintage buttons to complement their outfit. My doll "Liberty" was selected to be photographed for the 2003 Early American Life magazine's "Directory of Traditional American Crafts". My patterns are clearly written, but if you have any problems with any step along the way, feel free to email me. I want your time sewing my patterns to be enjoyable; I will do everything in my power to help you complete your project. Please feel free to email at
